Interior Designer Shares Tips on How to Redecorate a Dull Room For Less

Rearranging items you have in your home saves money and it's Fun!

Interior Designer Mary Crosby favorite is to rearrange what you already have to achieve a new look in your space.  I love this idea. Not only do you save money, but it's fun and you get to enjoy a diy you've done yourself. Often times there are items you already have in areas in your home that are overlooked and never used. Maybe it's a picture in a guest room that just doesn't match the decor, or an end table stashed in the basement that has been there for years.Well... pull it out, dust it off and use it!!!

Sometimes it's that small change that add to a space that brings instant character.

More Ideas:

Visit yards sales; Crosby, interior designer with decorating den interiors, Atlanta. Have found items that were fairly new that were perfect for her home that she would pay under $20 dollars for.

Thrift stores; Can be a great place to find a vintage light fixture or a piece of furniture that needs little refinishing or reupholstering which can make a great addition to any room in your home.

Lastly, every now and then give your home a little update by add something new to the mix. With adding a little creativity your place will become that warm and welcoming space that you, Call Home!!
