Smyrna resident De Auntre Washington was recently honored by the Boys & Girls Club of America and the University of Phoenix.  At an event held in her honor, Boys & Girls Club national staff member De Auntre Washington of Smyrna was recognized for her achievement in receiving one of 20 full-tuition scholarships offered nationally by the University of Phoenix and Boys & Girls Clubs of America.  De Auntre has faithfully worked with and served youth in the Boys & Girls Club for six years.
