On Saturday, April 16, 2011, Theater of the Stars will hold auditions for boys and girls between the ages of 10-18 years old for productions of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" and "Fiddler on the Roof."

Registration is from 10:00 - 11:00am and you must be at registration in order to audition.  The auditions start at 11:00am.  These auditions are for non-equity actors who have not yet graduated from High school.  Call backs will take place the same day.

In order to audition you must have two 8 x 10 copies of your headshot (color headshots are preferred but black and white will be accepted) and resume.  Head shots will not be returned. You must have these materials with you in order to audition.

Auditions are for a large youth chorus in "Joseph" and a small youth chorus in "Fiddler."  We will be looking for roughly 50 boys and girls to participate in "Joseph" who will be required to sing and do movement in the show.  For "Fiddler" we are looking for up to 12 boys and girls who will be a part of a number of scenes in the show and must be able to sing and move well.  You should be prepared to sing “Any Dream Will Do” from "Joseph."  Accompaniment will be provided.

If asked to return for call backs you should wear comfortable clothing, be prepared to dance and be prepared to sing “Tradition” from "Fiddler."  Accompaniment will be provided.

In order to be cast in "Joseph" you must be available from June 18-26, 2011 for the entire time period.  In order to be cast in "Fiddler" you must be available from July 16-24, 2011 for the entire period.  If you are selected for either show, you must participate in all rehearsals and performances.  "Joseph" and "Fiddler" are both touring to other cities but these auditions are for the Atlanta engagements only.
