Mayor Bacon Recognizes Students, Teachers and Volunteers
Three people from each school in the Smyrna area were given the Mayor's Education Award at a ceremony Monday night.
Smyrna Mayor Max Bacon on Monday night recognized a student, teacher and volunteer from 12 schools in the Smyrna area as recipients of the 2012 Mayor's Education Awards.
"The schools are what really drive our community," Bacon said during his welcome to the standing room only crowd.
In addition to schools in the Cobb County School District, the event this year included International Academy of Smyrna, a public charter school, and Whitefield Academy.
Bacon created the Mayor's Education Award in 2005 to recognize the exceptional academic achievement of Smyrna students, and contributions from staff and volunteers. The award recipients were selected by principals from the 12 schools.

This is a smear campaign. The only problem she has is in trying to get the truth out.

No, there is no smear campaign, except that led by MK against Bacon and the city of Smyrna and now other parts of Cobb County. MK suffers from paranoid delusions. She has attributed my comments to a man named Sean and I am a woman. MK comments everything with her op, yet calls rebuttal to her op "cyber stalking." I guess she is trying to use "cyber stalking" to win more money. Well, I am one MK does not want to go up against. I deplore opinionated people that think it is their way or the highway (or in this case, lawsuits). MK is a bully and she just needs to move. She is not getting the truth out. This is a miserable human being that complains about "not enough develpment," "$200K homes are development that is detrimental to the city." "Not enough sidewalks." "Cutting down trees to build sidewalks." Etc. ETc. Etc. Overbite.

One last one--I DARE MK to file a lawsuit against me for commenting on her negative comments and "truth." MK is paranoid delusional that anyone that doesn't agree with her is "with the imaginary government people" that are against her. May I stand to say I have no connection whatsoever with any government people whatsoever. MK needs to take up knitting or something.

As the saying goes, "somewhere someone is missing their town crier" although some insert the words "village idiot" (of course I would NEVER say that).
