  • YOUNG READERS CLUB - READING PAWS WITH MRS. COOPER

When/Where: Thursday from 3:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.  at the Vinings Library.
Why Go: The Young Readers club is open to all independent readers and, on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month, features the READing PAWS program where children can read to a trained therapy dog.  
Pricing: Free. Call library for reservation.

  • NEW BEGINNINGS CHILDREN’S CONSIGNMENT SALE

When/Where: Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 .p.m at Bethany United Methodist Church.
Why Go: Shop for clothes, toys, books, games, baby gear, maternity clothes and much more at this consignment sale benefiting Bethany UMC Children’s programs.  Many items will be half price on Saturday.
Pricing: Free to attend.

  • MAKE IT TAKE IT YARN DOLL

When/Where: Saturday 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Michaels
Why Go: Children ages 3 years old and up will create and decorate their own yarn doll to take home.
Pricing: Free while supplies last.

  • SATURDAY STORIES

When/Where: Saturday at 11:00am at the Smyrna Public Library.
Why Go:  Great for the whole family - find some books to borrow and enjoy this all ages story program.
Pricing:  Free.

When/Where: Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Cobb Civic Center Jennie T. Anderson Theatre
Why Go: Enjoy the choreography, beautiful costumes and adventure as Peter Pan and the Lost Boys travel through Neverland and do battle with Captain Hook.
Pricing:  $22 - $24
