A Cinco de Mayo party at a tavern with a Scottish name may not be the most authentic, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be fun. McCray’s Tavern West Village offers $5.50 Coronaritas, $4.50 Cuervo shots, $5.50 Cuervo 1800 shots, $6.50 Patron Silver shots and $3 Coronas.

Village Taqueria will have a Cinco de Mayo party of its own around the corner from McCray’s. The party on the patio features a taco bar, and music by Carlitosway while the Cuervo girls pass out prizes and Cinco de Mayo schwag.

Dos Amigos Cantina boasts that it’s throwing the biggest Cinco de Mayo party Smyrna has ever seen. A tent will be set up outside with a taco station and live music by Kurt Thomas and Juan Racinas. Cinco de Mayo drink specials include $3 house margaritas, 24-ounce cans of Tecate for $4 and $2 Dos Equis Amber draft.

Boca Mexican Grill, Smyrna’s newest Mexican restaurant, will be grilling pollo asado outside to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. They’ll offer $3 glasses of sangria and $15 buckets of beer.

In Vinings the Cuervo girls stop by Noche with Cinco de Mayo goodies. Live music begins at 2 p.m. and the full menu will be offered all day. Drink specials include $5 Jose Cuervo house margarita, $3 Dos Equis draft beer, $3 Jose Cuervo shots, $2 Tecate, $2.50 Landshark, $5 red and white sangria and $5 house vodka drinks.
