Gary Hill Network brings local businesses together
September networking luncheon will be held Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Smyrna Community Center.
The Gary Hill Network offers Smyrna-Vinings business owners a chance to network and promote their services through monthly luncheons and community festivals.
“Basically it’s a simple program to get local people to get to the know people in the community and to network and help promote each other with Jesus as the inspiration,” said Gary Hill, founder of the Gary Hill Network.
Some local businesses that participate in the network are Smyrna Tire, Art a la Carte, Vinings Bank and Dogma Day Care. The Gary Hill Network is similar to other business associations, but Hill says his programs better highlight the individual businesses. At the monthly network luncheons each member stands and speaks briefly about their services.
It’s not too late to attend Hill’s September networking luncheon, which is Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Smyrna Community Center. Lunch is $10 and can be paid for with cash or personal check.
The Gary Hill Network’s Community Festival will also be held at the Smyrna Community Center on Saturday, Sept. 24 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Members of the network will display their products and promote their services at tables set up around the community center gym. The festival also features door prizes, raffles, food and entertainment. Admission is free.
Hill also promotes business in his network with through his website and the community business guide he prints. Inclusion in the business guide and the website is free with membership in the Gary Hill Network.
