Half Off Six Flags Tickets During School Supply Drive
Guests who donate six new school supplies receive half-off admission August 8-12.
Enjoy a day of thrills and lend a helping hand as Six Flags Over Georgia hosts a School Supply Drive in partnership with Kids In Need, a project of the Atlanta Community Food Bank.
Park goers that donate six new school supplies will receive a coupon valid for 50 percent off park admission during a “Bonus Week” of operation, August 8-12.
“Six Flags is always looking for ways to be involved in the community,” said Melinda Ashcraft, Park President. “We could not think of a better way to say farewell to summer than by collecting school supplies for families that cannot afford these essentials for their children.”
Every year, Kids In Need is proud to distribute hundreds of thousands of pounds of brand new school supplies to teachers in low-income schools in twelve metro-Atlanta school systems, including Cobb County.
“Kids In Need is excited to partner with Six Flags Over Georgia,” said Judy Stamps, Kids In Need Project Director. “Families across metro-Atlanta are in need more than ever, so this partnership is a huge opportunity to help thousands of students in our local communities.”
To receive 50 percent off admission to Six Flags Over Georgia, guests must donate six or more new school supplies on the day of their visit this coming Monday through Friday. Suggested school supplies to donate include pencils, erasers, crayons, spiral notebooks, rulers, glue sticks, broad tip markers and pocket folders.
Six Flags Over Georgia is open daily through August 14. The park resumes weekend operation through October 30. For more information, including operating dates and hours, visit the park's site here.
