More Vendors, Parking for Smyrna Food Truck Tuesday
See who'll be serving at this week's Smyrna Food Truck Tuesday.
Fans of Smyrna Food Truck Tuesdays now have more dining options, including kids’ menus and more parking.
This week’s lineup includes:
At Monday’s Smyrna City Council Meeting, Community Relations Director Jennifer Bennett said several of the trucks will offer children’s menus. A representative from Happy Belly Truck confirmed to Smyrna-Vinings Patch that they’ll be offering kid-friendly fare.
Bennett also reported that there will be increased parking for the event. Community Bank of the South at 3016 Atlanta Road offered their parking lot for Food Truck Tuesday goers. Covenant Christian School and Smyrna Presbyterian Church have also made parking available in their lots beginning Tuesday, July 24.
After 6:30 p.m. food truck fans can park at the Behavioral Care Center next to Taylor Brawner Park at 3188 Atlanta Road as long as they don’t park in staff spaces or parallel along the driveway.
Bennett still encouraged those who are able to walk to the event to do so. Smyrna Food Truck Tuesday is tonight at Taylor Brawner Park from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

I rode my bike last week to this fantastic, fun food truck event! My only disappointment was to find that there were no bike racks at Taylor Brawner park! Hopefully this is a quick-fix issue for Smyrna? It would be great to worry less about parking - encouraging the community to take advantage of the brand new bike/walk path that goes right to T-B park. Smyrna is a healthy/active community.

Ibiza Bites needs to give a some sort of a menu on their fancy website so we can weigh all out options before we get there. Rain, rain go away! :)

Hello,
I visited the Food Truck area last week at the urging of my daughter and most of the places were sold out of a lot of food by 8pm and many of the items are overpriced. The parking situation needs improvement especially for people with temporary motor problems like me(brace on leg from an injury). I was very impressed with the system that "Happy Belly" has with a staff member taking the orders on an IPAD( I think it was). I wonder how much money the "city" is making off this type of operation.
