Do you no longer find Georgia’s license plate peachy?
Well you’re in luck because the next standard issue license plate is scheduled to be produced next year. And you can have a say in what it will look like as online voting is underway to choose the state’s new license plate.
More than 500 design entries were submitted by the public, and a panel of Georgia college and university art professors helped narrow the selection to the eight design finalists.
Online voting continues until July 8, when the three plates that received the most votes will be presented to Gov. Nathan Deal. The winning plate is expected to be announced by the governor on July 15.
Online voting can be accessed here and state officials are encouraging all Georgians to vote for the design that best represents the state.

You have got to be kidding. The designs are all horrible; they look like 4th grade art projects. There is no way that in the state of Georgia that we don't have something better than that. The colors are so in your face and will look kitsch on any car.

I love the design with peach blossoms on it and definitely like having "In God We Trust" to add to my license plate. I would be proud to display it. Can't wait to get a new plate.
