Police seeking man connected with Microtel Inn robbery
Black male was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, dark blue jeans, a skull cap and a piece of fabric covering his face.
Cobb County Police are looking for a black male, approximately 5-foot-7 tall with a thin build, in connection with a strong arm robbery just before 8 p.m. on Friday night. The crime was committed at the Microtel Inn at 5300 South Cobb Drive.
According to Cobb County Police spokesman Joseph Hernandez, the male entered the establishment, hit a female employee on the side of her head with a closed fist and then demanded money.
After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the man, who was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, dark blue jeans, a skull cap and a piece of fabric covering his face, fled on foot. The victim was not injured.
