The program is rather graphic in nature, as the accompanying video trailer behind the scenes offers a glimpse of what onlookers are likely to see during the shooting. The directors and actors insist it's not gratuitous, but even the painted-on blood and simulated violence -- and there's plenty of violence -- leaves nothing to the imagination.

Last season "The Walking Dead" was the most highly-watched drama series on basic cable by adults 18-49.
