Smoke Shop Open for Business on Spring Road

Smyrna's newest tobacco shop offers tobacco pipes, hookahs, cigarettes, cigars and pipe tobacco.

Smoke Shop is open for business and you can stick that in your pipe and smoke it. Smyrna’s newest tobacco shop, located at 2585 Spring Road in the old Petal Pushers florist location, offers a wide assortment of tobacco pipes and hookahs and will soon carry cigarettes, cigars and pipe tobacco.

Smoke Shop opened in early February and business has been steady ever since, said Addy Dhamani, the store’s manager.

The coolers that used to house bouquets of flowers are in the process of being converted to a walk-in humidor, Dhamani said. Smoke Shop will offer cigars once the humidor is complete, which should be by the end of March.

He explained that the store’s owner chose the location because it’s in “the right neighborhood” and because of its proximity to the busy Spring Road/Cumberland Boulevard intersection.

There are already several tobacco shops in Smyrna, including WiseAsh Cigars on Cobb Parkway and Cigar Villa on Atlanta Road as well as Tobacco Road and Discount Smoke and Tobacco, both located on South Cobb Drive. However, Smoke Shop is the first of its kind on Spring Road.

“We want to offer good customer service and satisfaction at a good, reasonable price,” Dhamani said.

Smoke Shop will soon offer its customers a loyalty card program. Shoppers can show their loyalty cards each time they make a purchase. After five purchases customers earn a 15 percent discount.

Smoke Shop is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Smoke Shop can only serve customers 18 and older and shoppers must provide proof of ID to enter the store.

Do the Jamaican flag colors on the sign hint there may be more than just "tobacco" offered? Just kidding.

I know what you're hinting at but if it's strictly for tobacco use, then it's strictly for tobacco use regardless of what people truly plan to do with the pipes, etc. Let's be happy that something was found that is willing to move into that worn out stripmall next to a bunker-like church school. Not the prettiest stretch of Spring Rd.

This store purportedly has a "hand roll" machine where you can bring in your own "tobacco" and feed it into a machine for rolling into cigarettes. Yes .... I think it can be assumed they are catering to a certain clientele based on the location, colors of the sign and the presence of this machine. Let's not be naive.
