Hawks by Mary Phillips sent chills down my spine. I can't even imagine the thrill of going out to my back yard and being able to take an exciting photo like this one.

I like Jill Helmer's field of daffodils for Buckhead Patch's entry.

Going with kid with big red flower. Cute, simplistic; but not so generic as the 900 "field of flower" pictures. Have no idea where it was taken or who took it, but it'd be my vote as the top picture for capturing the air of spring.

Props for person who took picture of "jeep in front of house" for most random picture of the bunch as well :).

Hey the picture of one of my girls with the big red flower was taken by one of my other daughters who is in high school.. She likes taking photo's of her sisters. She wants to potentially be a photographer with a studio one day... Thanks for the kind comments... B. Clark

is this only for metro ATL? Wish I could find where to submit a photo for St. Simons Island during our profusion of Azaleas!

AntebellumAyn: The Spring Fling photo contest entries are now closed, but you're welcome to place your St. Simons photos on the Buckhead Patch Neighborhood Gallery. Many Buckhead folks have homes at St. Simons or visit there and would love to see the spring colors.
