Win Tickets to Shen Yun

A celebration of Chinese dance and music is coming to the Cobb Energy Centre.

Readers: The entry period for this contest has closed. Congrats to winners Dee Bedell and Laura Simmons! We hope you enjoy the show!

Patch is giving away two pairs of tickets to Shen Yun at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre and you could be a winner!

Shen Yun, a musical journal through the history and culture of China, opens Friday.

Entering this contest is easy. All you need to do is post a comment at the bottom of this article to tell us how many times you've gone to the Cobb Energy Centre, and what your favorite event was there. Don't worry - just a sentence or two is fine.

We’ll conduct a random drawing from those entries for the Shen Yun performance on Friday night.

Winners will be notified by e-mail and can pick up their tickets at Will Call the day of the show. Winners will need to have photo ID to claim the tickets.

For more details about the show, check out the website for the Cobb Energy Centre.

One last detail - To qualify for the drawing, you must get your comment posted by 11:59 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26.

One of the best birthday gifts I ever received were tickets to see Bill Maher at the Cobb Energy Centre a year and a half ago. I loved the venue, very impressive, very diverse offerings! It does the metro area proud!

Yes! We adopted two daughters from China - they are 8 and 11 now. We would love to take them to celebrate Chinese New Year! We considered buying tickets but it is so costly to buy 4 tix. Even winning 2 would help us immensely!

Sad enough, WE HAVE NEVER been at the Cobb Energy Centre! We have seen it many times from I-75 and it looks to be a magnificent building. What a great opportunity it would be for us to see the Centre while enjoying an awesome show!!

My email also just arrived at 6:49 this morning so hopefully you can extend the deadline for those of us who didn't get the notice. Anyway, I've been to the Cobb Energy Center a couple of times. First to see Norah Jones and second for a large business association luncheon. I must say my favorite was Norah (even though the luncheon was also first class!)
