This charmer will melt your heart with his cute face and imploring eyes.  Barnaby came to us from a distant animal control facility.  He had a few hitch-hikers, known as wood ticks and a modicum of fleas, too.  We've banished them with his welcome bath and some modern medicine that will let him live varmint-free for a month.  Because the fleas and wood ticks often are signs of an "outside dog", we were relieved to see that Barnaby does not have heartworms.
 
Barnaby is not a hyper terrier type.  Instead, he is a solid, faithful, loyal and devoted pooch who wants nothing more than to love and be loved in return.  We simply could not walk away from his cage the day we met at animal control.  There's something about Barnaby that just begs you to want to get to know him better.  He'd like to get to know a forever home for the rest of his life.
