Legendary Atlanta comedian Jerry Farber is bringing big laughs to Smyrna this week as he will give a free performance at Delmar Gardens on Thursday at 7 p.m. Farber has been making Atlanta laugh for five decades at shows around town, and most recently at his nightclub, Jerry Farber’s Side Door, alongside Landmark Diner in Buckhead. A rainy day in metro Atlanta is the perfect day to escape to the world of turn-of-the-century Paris. Currently on display at the High Museum of Art in midtown are the works of Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. His prints and lithographs serve as the centerpiece of an exhibition that also features sculptures from the seventeenth through early twentieth centuries by such artists as Cordier and Dalou. Also featured at the High are the works of about a dozen young Lovett School artists from Smyrna, Vinings and Mableton.
