  this year&rsquo\;s annual Mt Bethel UMC Christmas event\, titled &ldquo
 \;Twas the Night Before Christmas&rdquo\; will premiere at St. Philip&rs
 quo\;s UMC in West Cobb. The concert will be held December 2 at 5 p.m. a
 nd is free and open to the public. Music and drama will provide a though
 t provoking twist to the familiar theme by showcasing what individuals&r
 squo\; lives are like the night before Christmas and how light and joy i
 s brought into our hearts if we choose to believe.The event will include
  nationally known guest soloists -- soprano Indra Thomas and Atlanta bar
 itone Robert McMichael. Thomas is a not-to-be-missed internationally acc
 laimed soprano who has built a successful career performing in operas ar
 ound the globe.&nbsp\; McMichael has performed in many gospel and spirit
 ual musical events in the Atlanta area. His passionate performances have
  a transformative effect on the listener.Adding to this talented bill is
  Mt. Bethel Director of Music Arts\, Chuck Newman\, a gifted pianist and
  musician. Chuck has performed with various internationally known solo a
 nd group artists &mdash\; from Reba McEntire to the Billy Graham Associa
 tion to the Gaither Family &mdash\; over the past twenty years. Director
  Ira Pittman will lead a cast of 125 singers\, instrumentalists\, dancer
 s\, and storytellers in an exciting event that will entertain and inspir
 e audience members with beautiful Christmas music including familiar car
