The Cobb Safety Village will be offering classes on fire and police safety topics for seniors over the age of 55. Residents need only attend one session. Participants must be county residents.
Additional classes will be offered on the following days:
- June 26, 1:00pm-3:00pm
- July 10, 10:00am-12:00pm
- July 26, 1:00pm-3:00pm
Participation will be limited to 25 persons per class and reservations are required by calling.

More About Cobb County Safety Village
Cobb County Safety Village opened in 2009 on an 8-acre site to provide comprehensive hands-on safety training for the county's youth and residents. The village features reduced-scale buildings on street replicas that include sidewalks, traffic signals and other structures and landmarks familiar to Cobb County residents. Capt. Scott Dodson serves as the director of Safety Village.
