MAKEUP SESSION - Yes the rain blocked out the sun last Tuesday, but don't despair.  Stephen W. Ramsden from the Charlie Bates Solar Astronomy Project will bring his telescopes and eclipse viewing glasses to the Smyrna Library for a special all ages solar astronomy viewing program this week.  This is everyone's opportunity to order to learn about the Sun and view its many interesting features Details:

The Smyrna Public Library prides itself on being the oldest "city operated" library in the state of Georgia. Since its opening in 1936, the Smyrna Library has a reference collection that has grown to over 10,000 volumes with a major emphasis on military history and genealogy. In addition to hardcover books, the library also has material available on CD, videotape and DVD.
