Colonial Pipeline will hold an opening ceremony for its Cobb Safety Village demonstration storage tank, which is a replica of a gasoline storage tank. It contains a built-in floor diorama, interactive safety games and an informational video. The site also provides information on underground pipeline safety and "call before you dig" information. This addition to the Safety Village will help enhance school children's safety education.

More About Cobb County Safety Village
Cobb County Safety Village opened in 2009 on an 8-acre site to provide comprehensive hands-on safety training for the county's youth and residents. The village features reduced-scale buildings on street replicas that include sidewalks, traffic signals and other structures and landmarks familiar to Cobb County residents. Capt. Scott Dodson serves as the director of Safety Village.
