Charity Event for Children in Need Comes to Vinings

A wine-centric event will help raise funds to benefit sick and injured local children.

The owners of a metro Atlanta area restaurant are hosting a charity event on Saturday that will benefit Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

Mark and Layla Gunn, who own The Melting Pot locally, are hosting the fifth annual Paint the Town event at Vinings Gallery at 7 p.m. on Jan. 18. Tickets for the event will cost $100.

The event will feature fine cuisine paired with excellent wines, and breathtaking artwork. Additionally, event goers will have a chance to bid on rare limited edition wines from some of Napa Valley's most prominent vineyards.

Over the past four years, Paint the Town has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for Children's and Pure Imagination, a charity run by the Gunns. The money raised goes to help children with severe injuries and life-threatening illnesses.
