Concord Road Asphalt Paving Underway
Two projects are running at the same time along Concord Road between South Cobb Drive and Hollis Street/McCauley Road.
Two asphalt paving projects along Concord Road in Smyrna are scheduled to run concurrently for the remainder of this week.
According to the city's website, one westbound lane of Concord Road between Brown Road/McLinden Avenue and Hollis Street/McCauley Road will be shut down until Nov. 27 for paving work. This project began Wednesday.
Paving work from South Cobb Drive to Hollis Street/McCauley Road has been in progress since Monday and is expected to wrap up tomorrow, the city says. Between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., one lane in each direction of travel will be shut down for asphalt paving.
