Give this Dog a Chance!

My husband and I have been fostering a Bullboxer Pit dog through Friends of the Forlorn Pitbull Rescue since April of this year.  We love her sweet playful nature, but she cannot be around cats- and that is a deal breaker for us.

She just needs that special someone to give her a chance.  If you are thinking about getting a dog (or know someone who might) get in touch with us!  Please "Like" our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/FindAHomeForTonya and send us a message so we can arrange a meet & greet.

If you like her, we can do a trial period to see if she is the right dog before making the decision to adopt her.  You have nothing to loose.  There is an application & adoption fee to Friends of the Forlorn Pitbull Rescue to cover the vet expenses (you don't pay until after the trial period).

Please don't let an adoption fee stop you.  It is much less than what you would have to pay if you took her to the vet, plus- you know what you are getting- we will work something out if she is the right dog for you.

Here is her description:

"Healthy, playful 2 1/2 year old female Bullboxer Pit, Weighs @ 50 pounds. Current on all vaccines, flea meds, spayed, heart worm tested, and microchipped. Bonus: Leash trained, crate trained, loves people, loves to play, good with kids, basic obedience training, good with other dogs but NO CATS!! If you are interested in meeting her, we will be happy to bring her to you!

Tonya was taken into animal control as a stray on 3/31/2013. After spending 16 days in AC, her time was up and she was on that day's euthanazia list at Fulton County Animal Control. She was rescued by Friends of the Forlorn Pitbull with only 2 hours to spare on April 16, 2013 and has been living with her foster family until then!"

Please read more about Tonya on her profile page: http://www.friendstotheforlorn.com/468/featured/profile/tonya.htm

Thanks so much for caring enough to read this post!   Even if Tonya is not the dog for you, please consider adopting a rescue dog.  They make the best dogs and need our love the most.
