Boyd Collar Nolen & Tuggle Partner Elected Chairman of the State Bar of Georgia's Family Law Section

ATLANTA, July 23, 2013 – Boyd Collar Nolen & Tuggle, LLC is pleased to announce the election of its partner Jonathan J. Tuggle as chairman of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia. The Family Law Section, with more than 1,800 members, is the third largest section of the State Bar. Tuggle assumed his role on July 1.

 

Tuggle has practiced as a litigation attorney for 15 years, and for the last 13 years, has devoted his practice exclusively to family law. He works with clients involved in complex divorce cases and a range of other family law matters.

In 2004, Tuggle founded the Family Law Committee of the Younger Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia, which to date has raised more than $100,000 for abused and neglected adolescents in Atlanta, and Georgia Legal Services, a state-wide non-profit law firm providing civil legal services to Georgians with low incomes.

Tuggle earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Georgia and his law degree from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University.

 

Tuggle was selected in 2012 by Georgia Trend magazine for its annual list of “40 Under 40: Georgia’s Best and Brightest.” He is also included among the publication’s “Legal Elite.” Tuggle has been selected annually since 2011 by his peers for inclusion among Best Lawyers in America and he is included among Georgia Super Lawyers.
