Veterans Honored at Delmar Gardens of Smyrna

Delmar Gardens of Smyrna honored their many resident veterans Monday at a ceremony held at the facility. Major Al Beverly, USAR Retired was the senior officer presiding over the ceremony which included the Campbell High School Army JROTC Color Guard, coached by SFC Will Powell, presenting the colors and American Legion Post 160 of Smyrna retiring the American flag. The American flag was then presented to 92-year-old Delmar Gardens resident and United States Army Veteran, Captain Bill Caplinger. Delmar Gardens of Smyrna, a luxury retirement, assisted living, skilled nursing and rehab center, always strives to host quality events for their residents and the Smyrna community.
