Vinings Village Civiic Club
The Vinings Village Civic Club invites all Vinings homeowners to join the Club and participate in the upcoming February 3 meeting at 6:30 pm featuring "Home and Neighborhood Security". The Civic Club meets at Vinings United Methodist Church on Paces Mill Road the first Mondays of each month at 6:30 PM. On Monday, February 3, 2014, at 6:30pm the Club will feature speakers including Cobb County police officers and John Loud of Loud Security Systems. The officers will discuss the current state of Vinings neighborhood security and what you can do to have a safe and secure neighborhood. John Loud will address the current state of home security and how home security systems integrate with the local police. Also expected are representatives of the Vinings Homeowners Association (VHA) to discuss measures taken by the present to discuss current measures taken by the VHA to make our neighborhoods safer and more enjoyable for our families.
The Vinings Village Civic Club is Vinings' oldest civic organization which began in the early 1900s. The Club's bylaws from 1919 can be found at the Vinings Historical Preservation Society at the corner of Paces Ferry and Paces Mill Roads. The purpose of the Vinings Village Civic Club for the promotion of civic betterment for Vinings. So come, join, and take part in making Vinings the best possible place to be.
