This film is based on a similar premise as "Zombieland" -- by placing incompetent characters in outrageous situations and facing near death experiences you can find … humor.

Proving truth really is stranger than fiction, "30 Minutes or Less" was clearly inspired by the real life case involving Brian Wells back in 2003. Wells, a pizza delivery man, attempted to rob a bank while wearing a collar bomb. Though his story ended in tragedy, we can all just sit back and chuckle at this film. The flick-o-meter gives "30 Minutes or Less" a three out of five.

The young actors and comedians have moments of brilliance in this part comedy and part action movie. There is no redeeming social value to this film other than the fact that it is entertaining and you don't feel like you have wasted too much of your time.
