Arts and Crafts Fair for Kids Saturday

It’s always a dilemma for a child to obtain a Christmas present for family, without asking parents for money and/or a ride to the store, not to mention guidance selecting said gifts. comes to the rescue with its 17th Annual Hands On Christmas on Saturday.

True, it seems a bit early to be thinking about Christmas shopping, but this event gets rave reviews from parents and children alike. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., children get the opportunity to make good quality presents for parents, grandparents and any other loved ones without parents’ assistance and/or the mess at home.

Admission is $5 and includes five craft tickets. Additional craft tickets may be purchased for $1 each. Hungry? Visit the Candy Cane Café for a lunch break.

Sample crafts are: Nativity set made from wooden blocks, button rings, ornaments, and gingerbread houses. Photos with Santa are also available and much easier than waiting in line at the mall.
