Author on Smyrna Will Present "Turning Points" Lecture
Dr. William P. Marchione will be discussing key moments in Smyrna's history during the Sunday lecture.
The author of a book focusing on the history of Smyrna will present a lecture discussing several moments in the city's history that encouraged or slowed the city's growth and progress.
Dr. William P. Marchione, author of "A Brief History of Smyrna, Georgia," will be at the Smyrna Public Library on Sunday, Dec. 1 from 3 to 4 p.m. as part of the library's "First Sunday" lecture series.
Marchione will be discussing "Turning Points in the History of Smyrna." Signed copies of Marchione's book will be available for purchase during the lecture event.
