A spokesperson for Cumberland Mall has responded to rumors that an Apple Store and other popular marquee brands are moving to the mall in the near future.
Arielle Logan, Marketing Coordinator at General Growth Properties, told Patch that she was unable to comment on whether or not an Apple Store or Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill would be taking up residence in the mall, but did confirm that new businesses that could not be named at this time were making plans to come to the mall.
Logan was able to confirm that Michael Kors, Teavana, Sephora, FootLocker/House of Hoops, Vans, Icing, and Charming Charlie would be opening at the mall soon.
Apart from new retailers that may or may not be coming to Cumberland Mall, Logan said that amenities such as an aquatic-themed play area, free WiFi, and center court digital LED screens are planned for the mall in 2014.
Logan told Patch that she would follow-up once she is able to confirm or refute rumors of an Apple Store and Toby Keith's restaurant coming to the mall.
