Fundraising Kicks Off for Smyrna Heroes Gala

Community members will gather at Atkins Park Tavern in Smyrna's Market Village from 5 to 8 p.m. today to kick off the fundraising effort for the annual Smyrna Heroes Gala.

This year's Smyrna Heroes Gala will be held Friday, Sept. 13 at Brawner Hall. The event benefits local police and fire departments through the Smyrna Public Safety Foundation, and entertainment will include raffle items, light appetizers, a cash bar, and live music performed by Wesley Cook.

At tonight's fundraising kickoff, attendees can pay a $5 donation at the door that will help support the Smyrna Heroes Gala. Atkins Park is located at 2840 Atlanta Rd SE, Smyrna.
