Get Lucky this Weekend in Smyrna

Party all day Saturday, Sunday and Monday at the 12th Annual St Patrick's Day Festival at the Market Village.

In advance of a full weekend of festivities offered by Market Village merchants, Mayor A. Max Bacon will dye the Market Village Fountain green at 5:30 p.m. on the Saturday (March 15) prior to St. Patrick's Day which is Monday, March 17, 2014.

Festivities begin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 15 with an admission charge (a portion of proceeds to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team in Training).

A description of many offered activities and a daily schedule follows:

The 2014 St. Patrick's Day activities hosted by merchants in the Market Village includes the Saturday and Sunday and the Monday of St. Patrick's Day with live music, a readhead contest, and games and rides for kids and adults.

Saturday (March 15):

2-5 p.m. - Music of Crane
5:30 p.m. - Mayor A. Max Bacon dyes the Market Village Fountain Green
6-8 p.m. - AJ Ghent Band
8-10:30 p.m. - DJ Rock Most

Braves B.A.T. Team will be onsite with T ball for kids and giveaways.Β  Inflatable and rides for kids on site, too.

Sunday (March 16):

2-6 p.m. - Action Jackson
6:30-8:30 p.m. - Chris Stalcup and the Grange

Braves B.A.T. Team will be there for T ball for kids and giveaways again! Atlanta Hawks promo team will be around with fun and prizes, too. Look for inflatables for kids, too!

Monday (March 17 - St. Patrick's Day):

2-5 p.m. - Francisco Vidal
6-9 p.m. - The Armory

Organizers ask that you not bring backpacks or coolers.
