Give Back Saturday with Wine Crawl and Car Wash
From the scrubbing suds and to overflowing vino, it's a weekend day for good fun for good causes in Smyrna-Vinings.
Sip and stroll around town this Saturday afternoon as Atlanta Bar Tours rolls out its fantastic 7th Vinings Wine Crawl event. Capitalize on that balmy fall weather whilst taking advantage of some terrific specials on vino and victuals at a handful of Vinings’ best-loved establishments.
The event lasts from 1-7 p.m. and registration begins at . The "grand tour” includes , , and .
Wines from regions all over the world will be featured and terrific low prices are offered at each restaurant. Vinings Fish Co. has $6 glasses of Loredona Viognier from California and plenty of excellent $5 choices. Delectable hors d’oeuvres such as Grilled South African Lobster and pineapple-pepper skewers will be available.

$5 glasses of Canyon Road Chardonnay and Pinot Noir will be for sale at Social Vinings, along with $5 calamari and $4 truffled cheesy macaroni fritters, and plenty of other goodies as well.
All registered wine crawlers will also be entered into a raffle. The afternoon wine event lasts all day, but don’t think you’re headed home. This is when the legendary after-party at Social Vinings takes over with entertainment by the Holiday Brothers.

Tickets are $6 in advance and $12 at registration and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Alzheimer Association in honor of Memory Walk month.

You can also help raise money for another good cause Saturday. The Atlanta Hawks cheerleaders will be conducting a car wash to benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
For a suggested $5 donation, the cheerleaders will scrub and clean your ride at the ampm convenience store located at 2535 Cobb Parkway. The event is schedule for 10 a.m. to noon. - Hunt Archbold
