Happy Birthday Atkins Park Tavern You Ole Dog You!
Fun festivities planned as the Market Village restaurant celebrates its eighth birthday on Wednesday.
It’s hard to believe has been situated in the Market Village for nearly a decade.
Wednesday marks its eighth year serving Smyrna signature burgers and drinks, but the tavern isn’t celebrating like a typical 8-year-old. The party kicks off Wednesday at 5 p.m. with an open bar for an hour and Michelle Enix will be on hand performing live music throughout the night.
Atkins Park keeps the celebration alive Thursday with Dueling Pianos with Ty Reynolds and Mike Renna. The boys take requests—everything from Beyonce to Billy Joel—starting at 10 p.m. and go without stopping till 1 a.m.

And Atkins Park Tavern is pumped for next week’s opening day (actually night) at Turner Field, and wants to offer fans a ride. The Braves are taking on the Phillies and Atkins Park will offer a fan bus to and from the stadium on April 8.
Tickets are $55 and include the bus ride, a 755 Club Pass, club-level seats, hot dogs and plenty of adult refreshments on the bus. For more info, call 770-435-1887.
