More Rain, Storms for Smyrna, Vinings Through Weekend

The chance of rain is increasing for Smyrna-Vinings and Cobb County going into the weekend, so get your umbrella ready.
The National Weather Service predicts a 40 to 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms for Thursday and Friday, with high temperatures in the upper 80s to lower 90s.
You'll still get to see some sunshine on Friday and Saturday. But by Saturday night, the chance of rain will go up to 60 percent. Thunderstorms are likely from Saturday night through Monday morning, according to the NWS.
