Race in Costume for a Cause

Registration is underway for the annual Spooktacular Chase that will take place in Smyrna in two weeks.

Get ready to race for a good cause in Smyrna during the Fourth Annual Spooktacular Chase on Saturday, Oct. 20.

You'll get to chase Seymour, the Spooktacular Chase's owl mascot, through the streets of Smyrna in this 5K Peachtree Qualifier. Proceeds for the fundraiser benefit Vision Rehabilitation Services of Georgia, a Cobb County non-profit that provides service to North Georgia’s blind and low vision residents.

The 5K and 1K Fun Run both start at 8 a.m. at Cobb Park located at 2776 Sanford Road across the street from Campbell High School. The fastest runners in each age group will receive a spooky owl bobblehead trophy. Participants are encouraged to dress in costume.
