Following a warm weekend in the 70s, Georgia is set for rain, cooler temps and maybe even a blast of cold air from the north.

A rainy Monday and Tuesday accompany cooler weather and a cold front, as it moves from out west to the east by midweek, according to The Weather Channel. It's not yet clear how far south the cold air would reach as the jet stream dips.

Forecasters give Smyrna-Vinings a 100 percent chance of rain on Monday, when the high is expected to reach 56, and 80 percent chance on Tuesday with a high of 52, according to the National Weather Service. Showers are expected to taper off Wednesday and Thursday, as low temperatures dip to 37 and 32, respectively. Highs are forecast for the mid 50s.
