Tree Board, Williams Park to Host "Tree Talk"
The discussion on mature trees and how to care for them will be held next week.
People who are interested in learning how to properly care for mature trees are invited to "Tree Talk" at Smyrna City Hall on Wednesday, Oct. 9 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
The talk, which is sponsored by the Smyrna Tree Board and the Williams Park Homeowners Association, will feature guest speaker and certified Arborist Gretchen Musser.
Musser will discuss maintenance needs and issues for mature trees, ways to determine if your mature tree is unhealthy, how to hire an arborist, and the parts of a tree risk assessment.
Anyone is welcome to attend this discussion and ask any questions they have about growing or maintaining mature trees.
