Tree Lighting at Vinings Jubilee
It is early November, but a countdown to this year's holiday happenings at Vinings Jubilee has started.
Vinings has marked the start of the holiday season with the lighting of a Christmas tree for the past 40 years. For 26 of those years friends and families have gathered around in celebration to light that tree at Vinings Jubilee.
This year's Christmas Tree Lighting will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29 at Vinings Jubilee Tower Stage.
Like a scene from the North Pole, there will be train and pony rides for the kids, prizes, face painting, balloon twisting, festive music and holiday treats. Not even Santa Claus would miss this event; kids can tell him which presents they would like to see under their tree this year and pose for photos on his lap.
