Holiday Lights a Twinkling in Smyrna-Vinings
Festive crowds gathered Thursday night for Christmas tree lightings at Vinings Jubilee and Emory-Adventist Hospital at Smyrna.
It was a beautiful night for Christmas tree lightings on Thursday. At Vinings Jubilee, a large turnout came to enjoy samples from local restaurants that were giving away free food, candy, cookies and hot apple cider.
The kids really enjoyed the activities indeed and the evening ended with Santa leaving on a fire truck, um, his sleigh.
Over at , it was just as festive as ole Saint Nicholas made an appearance for that 'tree' lighting, as well. As in Vinings, there was plenty of singing and seasonal sweets as the holidays have arrived in Smyrna-Vinings.
