Smyrna-Vinings Pics & Clips

Share photos and videos to help increase civic pride and maybe attract new people and businesses to this great area of metro Atlanta.

Have a photo of an event you recently attended?

Did you take photos at a recent game at or maybe laughing it up with friends at , or Brinkley Park?  Or maybe you were just by yourself at the Silver Comet Trail or down by the Chattahoochee and something caught your eye?

"Your Neighborhood Gallery" made its debut a little more than a month ago, and it means to provide a means for residents to easily upload photos of the community directly to the Smyrna-Vinings Patch website. This week, Smyrna businessman and civic leader Narayan Sengupta of the Rotary Club and SuperSmyrna, shared a pair of recent photos.

Said Sengupta: "I'd like to see some kind of photo contest celebrating the best of Smyrna - special events, architecture, etc. - which can be used for the city's website and that find their way into the public's eyes.''

That's a great idea. This gallery could be a useful tool to increase civic pride as well as to attract new people and maybe businesses from outside of Smyrna.

We want to know what you’ve seen in town and we want you to share your pictures with Smyrna-Vinings Patch’s readers and staff. While Smyrna-Vinings Patch users can upload photos related to specific stories to many articles on this site, there was no existing place for you to upload photos that aren’t related to an existing story or blog post.

Rather than asking you all to sign up as a blogger in order to share a photo, we are asking you to upload photos to Your Neighborhood Gallery – a collection of photos from you and your neighbors about your neighborhood. Just use the button embedded in the gallery.

Your photo(s) can be anything from any time frame. Write as little or as much as you want about the photo, or nothing at all and let the picture be worth 1,000 words. We look forward to starting more specific galleries in the future. For now, please share with us here.
