Tenth Annual Crawfish Boil

Atkins Park Tavern in Smyrna is throwing a New Orleans-style party starting at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 28. Rusty Hamlin, Atkins Park Tavern’s business partner and Zac Brown Band’s executive chef, will prepare crawfish and shrimp pots with potatoes, corn, onions, garlic and mushrooms that will be available both days. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Georgia Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Team in Training. Live music will start at 2 p.m. on Saturday with a performance from The Squirrelheads, and will continue outside at 6 p.m. with the band Soulhound. Patrick Scott will wrap up the live performances from 10:30 p.m. – 2:30 a.m. On Sunday, April 29, jazz musician Zack Graddy will perform at 1 p.m., and The Mar-Tans will take the stage from 4 – 8 p.m. Tickets for Saturday are $10 at the door and $5 in advance and include a complimentary ticket for Sunday.
