Midtown casting set for “The American Bible Challenge"

Casting directors for the Game Show Network program hosted by Jeff Foxworthy will be in Midtown Saturday seeking teams of three to compete on the show and showcase their knowledge of the Bible.

The Game Show Network (GSN) is on a nationwide search to discover the next champions of its highest-rated original series of all time, "The American Bible Challenge," hosted by Jeff Foxworthy. The second season of the hit series is slated to air in 2013.

GSN is available in Atlanta on Xfinity on channel 128.

On Saturday, Dec. 1, casting directors will be at the Spring4th Complex in Midtown searching for teams of three, who want to have fun and compete to win money for their favorite charity. Casting is open to all enthusiastic contestant teams around the country. Eligible teams should have competitive spirits, great personal testimonies and, of course, an outstanding knowledge of the Bible.

The Spring4th Complex is located at 728 Spring Street and casting will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Auditions will be held in the main building.

Produced by RelativityREAL, The American Bible Challenge allows contestants to celebrate their faith, have fun with friends, share their Bible expertise and potentially make an extraordinary difference to their favorite charity by winning money on its behalf.

Utilizing current as well as historical references, questions are drawn from the rich, dense narrative found in the world's best-selling book. The contestants share their compelling back-stories and each team plays for a charity.

To apply as a contestant for Season 2 of The American Bible Challenge, go to GSNTV.com, call 323.860.6703 or email biblechallenge2012@gmail.com for further instructions on how to apply.
