Smyrna Public Library Seeks Teen Advisors

The Teen Advisory Board helps the library's staff reach out to young adults with relevant materials and programs.

The Smyrna Public Library is looking for high school students who can help staff meet the needs of fellow teenagers.

The library's Teen Advisory Board is accepting applications in advance of their first meeting of the fall on Sept. 3 at 4:30 p.m. Members of the board are tasked with assisting library officials on services, materials, and programming for their peers.

Board members also expand and promote the teen-centric programs, encouraging others to attend.

Applications for the board may be picked up in the Young Adult section of the library. Additional questions may be sent to Rebecca Power at rpower@smyrnaga.gov.
