One thing that I think we should all remember is that beauty begins from within. How we treat our fellow man is more important than how we look. But all of us have a desire to be wanted and loved.

Like most people though, I'm a little vain about my appearance. My daughter once told someone that I would not go to the mailbox without my lipstick on. That is not completely true, but maybe close. I read once that women who wear makeup are more likely to be promoted and on the average make more money than those who do not. I did not check that statistic, but it sounded reasonable to me.

I strive to look the best I can, so skin care and makeup became apart of my routine about 40 years ago. Now that I'm 65, I focus mainly on skincare. I'm proud to say that I do not have age spots nor a lot of wrinkles. Maybe its heredity, diet or environment, but I think it is mainly the products that I use.

I did have a large quarter size brown sun spot on my left cheek, until I started using Avon's Luminosity which I purchased from my aunt who is an Avon Representative. She kept telling me I should become a Rep. too. After several years, I took her up on that. I've been selling Avon for several years now and love how Avon keeps improving the products.
