Planned 5-story luxury apartment near Braves coming soon

The first 350 of a 600 unit apartment complex will be breaking ground this summer just outside Smyrna city limits on Crescent Parkway between Herodian Way and Windy Ridge Parkway, within throwing distance of I-75. It will border Smyrna's Towns of Crescent Park townhome community between Crescent Parkway and Herodian Way. The Town of Crescent Park is within the Smyrna city limits, however this development will be just outside.

This shouldn't be confused with the other apartment being constructed just South of I-75, which is part of Two Overton Park, or with Walton Riverwood. Unlike the other two, this development will be North of I-75, and just North of the Braves site.

This first building will be five stories. This isn't Braves land, but is owned by the same property owner that sold other land to the Braves. It will also be separated from the Braves development by only a small strip of land.

This is further showing that the Braves' announcement and the announcement of BRT being part of the SPLOST are drawing attention to the long-stalled Cumberland area. For a while, most residential growth - most growth at all, actually - has been in Smyrna and Vinings, but Cumberland looks primed to start becoming a work-play community.

Developments like this will significantly increase the tax digest, and ultimately lower your taxes. A little investment can go a long way.
