A New Year Comes with New Business in Smyrna

Since Dec. 21, the City of Smyrna has received 28 business license applications and renewals.

The last time we checked in on the business front in Smyrna, we found 24 shops had started up or renewed their licences between Nov. 21 and Dec. 21. Since then, the amount of new businesses in town has almost doubled.

According to information obtained via an open records request with the City of Smyrna, 28 businesses applied for business licenses to operate within the city in the last three weeks.
