Finalists for Vinings Business of the Year Announced

The Vinings Business Association (VBA) has announced five finalists for its 2012 Vinings Business of the Year award.

The 5 finalists are:

• Vinings Historic Preservation Society (VHPS);
• LGE Credit Union;
• Social Vinings;
• The BrightSide News Vinings Edition;
• Marriott Courtyard Vinings Hotel.

“We are happy to recognize five Vinings area organizations for their commitment to the Vinings community and for their continued presence," VBA Chair Glenn Christian said. "They have contributed to the overall definition of our community and we congratulate them on their achievements.”

Each of the finalists will be invited to speak at the Dec. 4 luncheon held at Social Vinings to share some of their secrets on how they have succeeded. To register, visit www.viningsbusiness.com at least 24 hours in advance. The overall program is held from 11:30 a.m.–1 p.m., and cost is $15 for members and $20 for non-members. Only cash or checks are accepted at the door.

The 2012 winner will be announced at the Jan. 8, 2013 luncheon and will be selected by the VBA Board of Directors. The 2009 winner was SOHO Cafe, the 2010 winner was the Courtyard by Marriott Vinings and the 2011 winner was Vinings Jubilee.
