Representatives from each of the businesses will be speaking at the Vinings Business Association luncheon on Dec. 3.

The five finalists for the prestigious Vinings Business of the Year award for 2013 will be appearing at the Dec. 3 luncheon of the Vinings Business Association at the Social Vinings restaurant.

Bright Side News Vinings, Courtyard Atlanta Vinings Hotel, Delmar Gardens, PrintWave, and Social Vinings will be speaking during the 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. lunch program, which is sponsored by Fifth Third Bank. The buffet items will be provided by AYCE.

Glenn Christian, Chairman of the Vinings Business Association, told Patch that the five nominees were chosen by the Vinings Business Association's board, "based on the their participation, commitment and presence in the Vinings area and community."

Christian said that the five businesses will be speaking about their efforts to improve the Vinings community and give luncheon attendees a glimpse as to the reasons that they were nominated by the board.

The board will be responsible for selecting the 2013 Vinings Business of the Year. Previous winners include Vinings Jubilee and the Vinings Historical Preservation Society.

The event is open to members and non-members alike, but people in both groups must register for the event online at least 24 hours in advance. You can either pay online in advance or bring your invoice with you and pay with cash or a check at the door.

Lunch will cost $15 for Vinings Business Association Members and $20 for non-members, and includes a pre-lunch networking session.
